How IK Thermopore Started and Where We Are Today
IK Thermopore was founded in Lahore in 2004 with a straightforward goal — to make high-quality EPS insulation available to Pakistani builders, contractors, and businesses at factory-direct prices. At the time, the insulation market in Pakistan was dominated by a handful of large players with distribution layers that pushed prices beyond what small and medium construction projects could reasonably afford.
We started with thermopore sheets — the most widely needed product for roof and wall insulation across Pakistan's residential and commercial construction sector. As clients placed orders, word spread about consistent quality and honest pricing. Within a few years, demand grew beyond sheets alone. Our clients needed EPS packaging for pharmaceutical shipments. They needed insulated boxes for food delivery businesses. They needed pipe insulation for HVAC systems in the commercial buildings they were constructing.
We expanded our product range to meet these needs — one product at a time, based on real demand from real clients. Today, IK Thermopore manufactures seven product lines: thermopore sheets, thermopore boxes, thermopore packing, pipe insulation, blocks, balls, and beads. Each product serves a specific need, and each is manufactured in-house at our Lahore facility with the same commitment to quality and fair pricing that started the company in 2004.
We now serve clients across Pakistan — from homeowners in Islamabad insulating their rooftops to pharmaceutical distributors in Karachi requiring temperature-controlled packaging, to industrial exporters in Sialkot needing custom EPS molds for their shipments. Our delivery network covers all major cities, and our production capacity has grown to over 500,000 square feet of EPS sheet annually, alongside significant volumes of our other product lines.
